Get ready to drop into the AO with a serious airsoft gun at a price that will leave a few dollars leftover for airsoft BB’s with the Valken ASL Echo AEG!

Affordable yet loaded with all the essential features a serious airsoft shooter demands in a modern combat carbine, the Valken ASL Echo AEG is ideal for operators in search of a light, compact airsoft gun for closer-range engagements or indoor CQB. The 225mm inner barrel offers solid close to medium-range accuracy and is 14mm negative threaded should the owner wish to remove the standard muzzle device in favor of a tracer or other muzzle device. This shorter barrel, along with the 6-position collapsible stock, make for a compact, handy size ideal for CQB or for smaller shooters. The aforementioned short barrel is wrapped in a 6.5inch handguard offering two, 7-slot MLok segments plus a Picatinny-style accessory rail across the top, allowing practically anything from fore-grips to lights and lasers to be mounted depending on the user’s preference.

Shooting semi-auto or in fully automatic mode at around 330 feet per second, the Echo ships with a single 300 round Hi-cap magazine. Flip-up, Hi-viz style open sights are provided and both left and right-handed shooters are accommodated, as the Valken ASL Echo features ambidextrous controls like fire control and mag release. In addition, whichever hand the shooter pulls the trigger with will be comfortable thanks to the ASL Echo airsoft gun’s ergonomic, comfortable pistol grip. Features like an adjustable, rotary style hop-up, 18:1 metal gears, 6mm bushings, an upgraded torque motor and low resistance wiring ensure the Valken ASL Echo will handle business reliably, magazine after magazine.

Essentials for the ECHO

Once an airsoft operator has decided to “pull the trigger” on the Valken ASL Echo, it’s time to build a loadout, starting with the essentials! Getting the ASL Echo AEG airsoft gun out of the box and onto the battlefield will require a battery, and Valken has all the airsoft batteries and airsoft battery chargers a shooter will ever need! The battery of the ASL Echo is wired to the rear with a small Tamiya connector, and Valken recommends batteries like the Valken Lipo 7.4v 2500mAh 15/25C Split (Small Tamiya) or the Valken Lipo 67.4v 2000mAh 25C Split airsoft battery to power up the Echo. A battery charger is a good idea, and again Valken has every shooter covered with items like the Valken 2-3 Cell Li-Ion Digital Display Smart Charger, and essential safety items like the Valken Lithium Battery Charging and Travel Safety Sack as well! When it comes to airsoft batteries, power and safety go hand-in-hand! As the Valken ASL Echo AEG airsoft gun is delivered with only 1 high-cap M4 style magazine, it’s a good idea for a shooter who doesn’t have a stockpile of airsoft magazines to grab at least one pack of airsoft magazines, and Valken offers various styles in various capacities!

Options for the ECHO AEG

Once a shooter has selected the Valken ASL Echo AEG from the Valken Armory as the basis for their loadout and the basic essentials like a battery and some spare magazines have been tossed in the cart, it’s time to consider some options to upgrade! For newer airsoft operators, especially those who decide on a stack of hi-cap magazines, an airsoft magazine speed loader like the 1,000 round Valken Max Reloader is probably a good idea. A soft gun bag from Valken is a great idea as well, as this makes transporting the airsoft gun, spare magazines, batteries and other accessories much easier and won’t attract unnecessary negative attention out in the world.

When it comes to actually bolting things onto the Valken ASL Echo, Valken has several options for airsoft gun upgrades that will help a shooter be more effective on the battlefield. A great start is a red dot sight or a rifle scope! While the shorter barrel and compact size of the Valken ASL Echo doesn’t exactly lend itself to long-range sniping, a shooter who plans to run the Echo outdoors or in large-scale ops may still wish to consider a variable zoom scope like the Valken 1-4x20 as this provides accuracy, versatility and the ability to engage at close to medium ranges with surgical precision. Shooters who plan to stick to close-range engagements in CQB or indoor airsoft environments, however, can easily add a red dot sight for quick target acquisition and accuracy, but close-range combat means a flip-up lens protector in front of the scope or sight is a great idea too. Finally options like a sling will make carrying and moving around with the Echo airsoft gun much easier especially during long operations, and a vertical fore-grip will help a shooter keep a handle on things as they navigate the battlefield!

Light, packed with features and affordable, the Valken ASL Echo AEG airsoft gun is a great beginner airsoft gun, an outstanding compact airsoft carbine for close quarters battle, or an ideal versatile airsoft gun for a cost-conscious airsoft operator! With just a few accessories and airsoft gear upgrades, the Valken ASL Echo can punch with airsoft guns costing much more and win!
